Infrastructure Development

Infrastructure Development is an in-process series of eight autobiographical paintings that individually depict the most influential relationships of my formative years.

The works utilize the format of timelines to reconstruct events, both chronologically, spatially, and emotionally, which transpired during a fixed time frame. Each work is three feet tall by a width that corresponds to the chronological length of the illustrated event. Involved persons are depicted using highways carved out of roadmaps while interactions, locations, and experiences are likewise illustrated using various other symbolic elements.

This series blends my fascination in cartographic perspectives, infographics, and concepts of personal inventory and historical accounts in the field of psychology.

All pieces are mixed media on canvas.
